This lovely new Dianthus has been bred and selected by Dr Keith Hammett for its garden performance. ‘Freckly Flake’ has strong stems, perfumed flowers and compact grey foliage.

Double red splashed with white flowers with beautiful perfume repeat flower from late winter to summer. Ideal for cut flowers.

Position
Full sun position and well drained soils.
Description
Lovely grey foliage with the flower stems held above which is highly perfumed. The double red splashed white flowers are perfect for cut flowers.
Cultural Notes
Easy to grow, remove spent flowers. Fertilise when planting.

Ideal for sunny borders, clustered in perennial borders, mass planting or container gardens. Frost, drought & heat tolerant.
Water Requirements
Water only during extended dry periods. Does not like wet soils, keep in a well drained position.
